Acronis Access Windows App

Installing the windows app

Go to the windows store,

and either search for acronis access or go directly to https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NBLGGH2SG99

It should look something like the image below
Then install and run it.

On first start up it will give you two choices, choose use company server

and type the following and click continue

Click to copy

It will say the security certificate is not trusted but you should click proceed always

Now log in with your Pickering credentials.  Normally firstname.lastname for the username but occasionally some users are just firstname, e.g matt.smith
and click continue

Once policies have applied you should be connected.

Using the app

The main screen shows you your locally synced files and Network files (i.e. those Pickering network shares shared with you)

Click on network if you have more shares than what is shown on the initial from screen.

Click a share and you will see all the folders and files available.

You should be able to open files.  For Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files you can edit and save, and create new ones.
